Grant Engineering & Construction Group, LLC (GECG) has been awarded the DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES bid issued by the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA). This contract marks a pivotal moment for our team as we take on the critical task of supporting the Home Repair and Reconstruction Program (HRRP) and the Rental Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Program (RRRP), designed to aid over 300 applicants affected by recent storms.
Scope Overview
Under this contract, GECG will spearhead various crucial tasks, including reviewing/approving/creating new and existing Estimated Cost of Repair (ECR) reports to ensure accuracy and address storm damage appropriately, reviewing/approving/creating new and existing architectural drawings, reviewing/approving/creating Allowable Activities (AA) Reports, Inspection Duties, Construction Progress Inspections, etc.
